Updated Policies Due to COVID-19 & Regulations

New updated policies to follow the State of California’s COVID-19 regulations?
We are following state and local regulations regarding photography very closely. According to the State of California, photography is allowed as long as social distance guidelines are being met. Most of all, we care about your health and well-being. We are here for you and want to walk through every uncertainty with you.

Is Skybright open to scheduling clients in California Phase 2 & 3? We are adhering to state guidelines stated on the COVID-19.ca.gov website. They have deemed outdoor photography as an acceptable activity. We use social distancing guidelines required by the state. We, along with others in our photography community, have reached out to our local and state governments and will continue to assess our ability to serve you.

What are Skybright's new COVID-19 distancing policies? We are currently creating new systems that will include heightened cleaning and distancing requirements. For each client, we will communicate clearly regarding their preferences with facial masks and distancing guidelines. Especially for those clients with guests/family that are at higher risk, we take precautions to keep safe distances (6ft away). We use hand sanitizers throughout our sessions/events, as well as cleaning our camera equipment. We are not using our standard “hands-on” approach to posing but instead use a “verbal guidance” method to adhere to social distancing guidelines.

What if I'm feeling sick and need to reschedule my session?

Because of this unprecedented time, we are allowing our clients to reschedule their sessions if they are not feeling well. We will allow one reschedule date without penalty fee, and every following reschedule date may incur fees on a case by case basis.

What if one of Skybright photographers is ill?
We want you to feel confident that we do our best to keep you safe and healthy. If for some reason assigned photographer is ill, we will communicate clearly with you about the situation. If necessary, we will replace your photographer with another Skybright photographer.

What if I need to cancel my session or event?
Our cancellation policy states that any payments towards retainers are non-refundable. However, if there is a clear communication, we will assess each termination on a case by case basis. Please inquire regarding cancellations, service transfers, or termination of agreements, only if necessary.

What is it like to work with SkyBright?

We like to make your sessions fun, magical, and connect. It is our goal to create a beautiful collection of images so that you can remember your family and life moments as they happen. We love posed portraits but also love photographing candid moments where it is all about being your most authentic self.

How would you describe your photography style?

Our editing style is light, airy, and bright. We are a fine art photography. We love to tell stories through our art in a natural and magical way. We love to connect to each and every one of our clients, it's through that connection where our magic happens & we tell your perfect love story!

What types of sessions do you offer?

We specialize in sharing and capturing special life events. We absolutely love, Engagements, Weddings, Maternities & Boudoir. We love becoming our client's forever photographers and being a part of their special moments for life.

What cameras do you shoot with?

We respect all types of photographers and types of equipment. We personally photograph top of the line Canon cameras, utilizing mainly professional grade prime lenses.

Do you edit and color correct your images?
Absolutely! Quality is highly important to us. Every image uploaded to your gallery will be enhanced and edited with color-corrections to present light and airy Skybright feel.

Do you have the ability to provide additional photoshop work or style images?
With our candid and natural style, we typically like things to be as pure as possible. We are able to provide additional photoshop work, upon request for an additional fee of $20-$60 per image. Depending on the image and/ or request.


How long have you been photographing?
We have been photographing since 2008 and officially in business since 2014. We have photographed many different styles of weddings, engagements, events, maternity, children, families and boudoir.

Do you have liability insurance?

Absolutely! We want to make sure that your venue, our team, and our clients are all protected.

How soon should I book with you?

Our recommendation is for you to book as soon as you have a date set. All of our dates are filled on a first come, first serve basis. As soon as you have your date confirm, we want to start talking wedding and all the fun details!

How much do you require for a deposit or retainer?

* For weddings or events we require 1/3 payment of the total contract amount. There will be 2 more equal payments of 33% each of the remaining balance spaced out equally between the contract signing date and month before wedding/ event date.
ALL FEES ARE DUE NO LESS THAN 7 DAYS PRIOR TO WEDDING/ EVENT & ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

*For engagements, maternity, family, newborn sessions, our standard policy is 50% of total contract amount; to secure your time and date. Final balance is due a day prior to your session.

ALL DEPOSIT/ RETAINER ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

How many photographers do I need on my wedding day?

We highly recommend having two photographers at any wedding or event. There are many reasons to consider hiring a second photographer, but the main reason is to have more of your wedding day covered.

How will we receive our images and how many will we receive?
We STRONGLY believe in quality over quantity. With your collection, we want you to love every image. We offer our clients approximately 65+ images per hours of event photography coverage. Once a gallery is complete, we send out an email with a link to your gallery. You will be able to immediately download your gallery and we highly recommend archiving right away. For weddings and events, you can expect your gallery to be ready in 6-8 weeks.

Will you post or share my photos online?

We absolutely love to share our work on our website and social media platforms . It's our way of loving our clients! However, if your prefer to not have your photos posted online, we can accommodate your privacy preferences.

Do you offer videography?

We are currently working on launching Skybright Films. Please inquire upon booking.
